Corp Update August 12, 2004 -

Refit of Triumph System –

 

Yep….this still needs a little more time, but another thing we would like is your input on what you think the triumph system would be, and this will play a critical role and how we refit the triumph system, so send us emails at teknoman@gmail.com so we can know what you think.

 

For one we know that the triumph system will now be based solely on things done for the corporation. This means that you will not have to worry about logging ratting kills for agent missions or private ratting, only for corp ops that include either protection of miners or corporate ratting missions (or corporate mining).

 

Announcement of New Positions/Roles –

 

Aleatra – Aleatra has been made the Director of Rookie(Noob) training. She will be conducting her operations in the Oursalaert system and the systems around it. She will have access to corp money for anything that noobs need, so if you’re a noob, and need money, you needn’t worry about not having it. Her operations will be small scale ratting and mining with the rookies both for scord and for omber, the latter of which will be refined for use in manufacturing.

 

Silrae – Has been granted treasurer status allowing her access to corp funds. This allows easier access to money if the CEO’s aren’t around so feel free to ask her for money if you need it.

 

Gentar - Has been granted treasurer status allowing her access to corp funds. This allows easier access to money if the CEO’s aren’t around so feel free to ask him for money if you need it. Gentar has also been granted the role of Director of Internal Affairs. He will be in charge of accounting and the like, and will be calling ops for pvp skirmishes.

 

Dakoo – Granted Director of Security Status – Dakoo is our new poss(co-director) of security, a position that will exercise the following powers/fulfill the following duties: Organize ratting operations on a fairly frequent basis, organize research into corps that often declare war and the new environment offered by Shiva for holding our own set of systems. Also Dakoo will be in charge of organizing responses to corps declaring war with us and he will be working closely with the CEO’s to deal with the current war with 7660.

 

Remember the Mining requirement – Remember to log your hours because those will be scrutinized so if you have personal issues or are going on vacation and can’t fulfill that you have to tell me. 

 

Note to Directors –

 

As you have gained your positions of power, you should make sure to keep everything as documented as possible. This means that when you make a withdrawal use the note option to leave an explanation as the reason for withdrawal….this is not really a trust issue, more for booking purposes than anything else.

Oh and make sure that you plan ops and then send the info to me so that I can post it on the website.

 

Mining Ops – Mining Ops will now be occurring on a weekly basis at regularly scheduled times. On Saturdays and Sundays there will be paid mining ops, at 1600 EVT – 2100 EVT and 0 EVT – 4 EVT on those days. All corp members are encouraged to participate. These paid mining ops will occur in Sankkassen and we will be mining either pyro or scordite. Non paid mining ops will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1600 EVT – 2100 EVT……..Note, one of the weekend mining ops may switch to non paid depending on how many ppl can make the ops during the weekdays. Remember also that if you can’t make these just find a couple of your corpmates and mine with them, and be sure to meet and log your weekly mining requirement. If you guys think that there should be different times for the ops, or would like to add new ops for better times just send me an eve or email. Oh and all corp mining missions can be assumed to take place in Sankk unless you are otherwise notified.

Corp Update August 10, 2004 -

Dear Corp –

 

Well suffice it to say that these last few weeks have been fairly rough. But I think it can be said that we have tried some things and some have succeeded and some have failed rather spectacularly. Now the CEO’s are going to try to do some clean up and retrofitting so bear with us.

 

First – Directorships and Leadership Positions – We are taking down the current system of directorships and are asking for applications from you guys for positions in the corp. The previous system did not really allow you a choice in the matter so we feel that this is the best way to provide both effective and productive leaders. Leadership positions will work as follows: directorships are positions of leadership that will come with certain benefits and costs. Costs will be mostly in time for planning ops in the like and so on. Benefits will come in priority for implants, interceptors, and bs’s. The task of directors will be to call operations, announce them to the rest of the corp, and take care of the field that they are the director of. I still believe that the same system of directors for each of the parts of this game is a good one, but feel free to create your own “directorship” and apply for it, and we will do our best to make it a reality if it is a good idea. Directors will have access to the appropriate hangars and will be allowed make important decisions. In the end it will be the directors and CEO’s that determine the way this corp evolves and what it turns into, so if you want to be an active part in that, apply for a position.

 

Second – We will be altering the triumph system’s importance and layout. This process will take a bit, and we are definitely open to ideas and comments from you guys, esp if you could email them to teknoman@gmail.com.

 

Third – We will start recruiting again soon but it must be made clear that we want the corp members to create strong ties. Hopefully our new directors will be able to call far more official corp operations than me and Maro have. Furthermore, even tho official ops may not be going on, just group rat or mine with ppl and talk about random junk. In essence, just try to have some fun and get to know your corpmates. We are recruiting largely to increase our numbers but we will  be only recruiting for special purposes right now. Specifically we want to find some dedicated miners, refiners, researchers, and manufacturers. More open recruiting will occur after the new directors are in place and we have gotten the corp in order, as it were.
